Who is ready to start creating? I know I am! I have started to put the wood projects up on the website. Here are a few tips for supplies you might want to get to be ready for your wood projects (and ceramics down the line):
We use primarily Apple Barrel paints that you can pick up at Walmart. They have a nice coating coverage as well as great colors premade.
You will need some brushes, I typically use the same styles every time. One larger flat brush, a medium rounded,
and a fine tip.
If you like polka dots, want to make eyes, etc., it's nice to have a set of dotting tools. I pick mine up on Amazon. They seem to be good quality at an affordable price. But you can pick up a set at a craft store too.
Glue is a must: I recommend wood glue but Elmer's is fine. I try to stay away from the hot glue because sometimes the wood pieces lift from each other.
Dollar tree sells a nice pack of small claps in their crafting section those are good to have also. Or just something heavy to weight down the project while it is drying.
You will notice in the description of the products I include what we used so you can use the same or give it your own spin. We love it when you express your creativity! Or if you get the kit we will give you the colors that we used or pretty close to them. (We have awesome project painters from all over so their colors maybe a little different).
I can't wait to create with you all!
