Hand Building with Clay

Learn how to hand build with clay!  We will guide you through the process step by step. 

Each reservation includes:

• Up to 3 lbs. of clay

• Kiln firing and glazing

• Instructions for building: rolling, coil and/or sculpting

• Learn the rules of the studio to work & clean up safely

• This is for beginner levels of experience, including new clay artists with no experience or with limited experience

• Class size: 4 maximum 

• All Ages Welcome (under 10 needs a parent with them)
• Sign a Liability Waiver at the Coop

• Long hair must be secured so it won't dangle forward. Jewelry and watches should be stowed. Fingernails should be trimmed before class.

This class is nonrefundable for cancellations or no shows.  Please understand that you will get messy during this class!  We are not responsible for damages to yourself or your project. 

Your project will be ready to be glazed within 2 weeks of class.  All projects will need to be fired twice.  

We will email you to schedule your time to come in and glaze your project after it has had the first firing.  And then email you again for pickup.

We will only hold your project for 30 days after the emails have been sent. If you are unable to glaze your project within those two weeks we ask that you pick it up and hold it till you are able.  All projects not picked up within the 30 days will be discarded.
